Ngāti Kuia Native Trust | Titiraukawa Native Plant Nursery

Client: Ngāti Kuia Native Trust
Project Type: Commercial, Community, Infrastructure
Project Manager: Dan Roberts
Location: Rai Valley, Marlborough

The Titiraukawa Native Plant Nursery is a commitment to preserving and nurturing native tress and seeds with plans to contribute to programmes such as the restoration programmes in the Marlborough Sounds to ensure our native treasures flourish for generations to come.

The Titiraukawa Native Plant Nursery project is situated on a gentle slope. Therefore, the project involves a bit of digging into the hillside to relocate soil in an effort to even out the land, making a solid foundation. Once the ground is level, we'll add a protective layer to shield the soil from rain and unexpected weather, then get on with trenching round the site for water, drainage and power.

This page will be updated when we can tell you more, but right now, we’re busy getting (Good) Sh*t Done.
