To answer this we need to understand your ‘why’, perfect the concept, and complete the due diligence. At BPM, we recognise the critical importance of thorough preparation in ensuring project success. Before embarking on any endeavour, our teams invest significant time and effort in understanding your requirements, defining project objectives, and formulating comprehensive strategies to achieve them.Our client-centric approach is rooted in a deep understanding of your needs, preferences, and objectives not how deep your pockets are (so yes, be prepared for 20, probably more, questions).
This part of the process leaves no stone unturned, we’ll dig, explore, and investigate to build strong foundations for successful project delivery. By laying a robust groundwork through meticulous planning, we mitigate uncertainties and set the stage for smooth execution.
At the completion of this phase, we’ll be able to give you an early indication of the cost and establish an initial timeline for the overall project. And if the situation calls for it, we’ll also tell you the truth about your project which may sometimes be something you don’t want to hear but need to hear. We’re not in the business of spending your cash if we believe the outcomes you want aren’t realistic or we may suggest taking smaller steps to lessen the risk on you before fully committing to the project

So we have the concept, now’s the time to bring in the extended team of experts to determine if we’ll need council content under the RMA (Resource Management Act).
We want to mitigate as much risk as possible to the project at this point, so we get busy establishing clear communication channels to facilitate seamless collaboration among team members. Once again, we check in on budgets and we take another look at the timeline and of course, keep you informed every step of the way.

We’re not breaking out the champagne just yet, but getting to this phase is something to celebrate because it means we’re ready for project launch.
The concept is done and the design documentation is underway. We lodge any building consents (if needed) and obtain a cost to build. This phase of the project is also the form-filling and contract-signing phase. No, we won’t drown you in paperwork but it’s a transparent way of knowing where everything stands. Guess what else we do in this phase? Yep, once again we track the budget and the timeline.
