Shining Bright: Finalists for the Wellington Gold Awards!

Getting (good) Sh*t Done!

As the weather starts to look a bit more Wintry (yes, it’s a real word) our team of busy bpm-ers have been keeping themselves warm by smashing out some (good) sh*t on projects around Aotearoa.

In Upper Hutt, we’ve been taking advantage of the great weather Wellington has been putting on and got a residential development at Camp St fully enclosed and weathertight. This was a great milestone for the project team and client, and was the result of some great forward scheduling to utilise the ‘dry’ months before Winter wisely and prioritise the site works and getting the building sealed so progress can continue regardless of what mother nature brought us later in the year.

On this project we’re providing a full service offer to the client acting as PM, Engineer to Contract, Project QS and Bank QS. It’s a great example of the efficiency we can bring for our clients and streamline the multiple project responsibilities.

If you want to see how things are shaping up, check out the progress on our socials.

More (good) Sh*t!

More bpm-ers = more (good) sh*t done.

That’s right, our team has continued to grow and since we last spoke, we’ve added a couple more homerun hitters to the dream team. You can check out their smiley faces on our website.

Challenge the status quo!

Guess who just bulldozed their way into the finals for the Supporting Gold Category at the Wellington Gold Awards? That's right, us. Shocking? Not really. When you’re out here tossing your coffee at convention (not literally, relax), things like this happen.

Why did we get nominated? Because at BPM Ltd., we’re too restless for the regular. While others cha-cha with old tricks, we’re throwing down a breakdance in the world of project management. We don’t just challenge the status quo; we give it a cheeky wink and ask it to keep up.

We also had a cheeky post put out but if you haven’t seen it yet, here you go

Teamwork makes the dream work

In June the team attended the Project Industry Awards in Auckland with Tasman District Council representatives and other key project member to represent an amazing piece of work that is Te Noninga Kumu Motueka Public Library lead by BPM’s very own Associate Project Manager Dan Roberts.

We were wrapped that Te Noninga Kumu was awarded excellence for the green building award and merit for the civic, health and arts property award.

A Project Done Well indeed.

Want to see a little more about this great project? No problem, here’s a video.

We are what we do, not what we say we’ll do

Avid readers of the BPM newsletter (that’s all of you right???) might remember in our last edition we put the call out to join our, possibly unhinged, MD Dan complete another round of 75 Hard. Well we’re super stoked about the fact that we had 23 willing participants join Dan on the 75 Hard programme including a few members of the BPM crew.

Want to find out how the 2023 cohort got on over their 75 days??? Well check out this post that Dan did on LinkedIn and find out, we promise it’s worth it……..even if to just find out about ‘Lozenge-gate’ as we’re calling it and forced Dan to start back at Day number 1 😂 😂 😂

Don’t be a jerk

We know the months go faster every year, that’s why we’re here to make it easier.

So if you have a project you would like us to take a look at then get in touch.

In the meantime, don’t be a jerk & follow our socials.
